# Finders Fee

The NFT Embed has an optional purpose: facilitating a finders fee through an embedded NFT.

### Fee Breakdown

Here is a breakdown of a typical fee split:

* **Collection Royalty**
  *  These fees get collected by the collection creator.
  * Must be set by the owner.
  * [**Use this tool**](https://royalties.nftembed.org) to ensure royalties are set for collections.
* **Universe Fee**
  * These fees get collected by the exchange contracts and transferred to UniverseDAO.
  * The current fee is 0.3%.
* **Finders Fee**
  * Optional fees for facilitating the NFT sale through the embed. 
  * This is similar to an affiliate sale or vendor fees.
  * Must be set via the NFT Embed page, [***here***](https://nftembed.org).
* **Seller Earnings**
  * After subtracting the above fees, the remainder gets transferred to the seller/owner.
